On the west side of the beach, the boulders and ‘island’ have caves and springs gushing out of the cliffs while on the east, the clean stream coming out of the ‘Lily Ponds’ runs along this side and is perfect for small children to play in.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path follows the coastline along here to reach Stackpole Quay, Barafundle Bay, St Govan’s Chapel, the Green Bridge of Wales and the Eulug Stacks.
