Mwnt is a secluded beach in south Ceredigion on the West Wales coast between Cardigan and Aberporth. It lies on the Ceredigion Coast Path and is dominated by the prominent steep conical hill (formerly anglicised as Mount from Foel y Mwnt); a landmark that stands out from much of the Cardigan Bay, rising above the swimmers to a height of 76m.

This popular beach, owned by the National Trust, was placed in 2011 at the top of its list of "Europe's top ten loveliest hidden beaches". The Irish Sea that rolls on its sands is rich in wildlife and is a regular summer home to dolphins, seals and porpoises often seen rolling over in the glistening powerful light of exquisite sunsets.
