This exceptionally detailed pencil
drawing by welsh-based Vladislas is reproduced and presented by Vlad-Art as a
limited edition, portraying the highly photogenic and unique iconic structure
of ‘The Forth Bridge’ from the village of Queensferry, west of Edinburgh, east Scotland,
which crosses the Firth of Forth (estuary of the river Forth). This
construction is considered to be a great symbol of Scotland’s greatest man-made
wonder and classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. ‘The Forth Bridge’ was
opened on 4 March 1890 and has a total length of 2,467 m approximately holding
2,500 tonnes of iron, 6.5 million rivets and 18,122 m3 of granite. It is a rare
opportunity to find a drawing of a Scottish icon in such beautiful
representation and fine photographic details showing the complex intricate
metallic structure, every block of the granite supports and the reflection of
the bridge onto the ripples of the sea softly furling along the shores of
Queensferry.
