This pencil drawing of a narrow boat in fine graphic details by Vladislas is reproduced as a limited edition showing a narrow-boat arriving in a secluded rural area, at one of the numerous locks set up along the canals.
Locks were made along the canals in order to lengthen stretches of deep enough and increase depth making navigation possible. Canals were built especially in the 18th century onwards during the British industrial revolution to provide a water conveyance service of goods between cities, carrying goods on the huge canals networks across England and Scotland with narrowboats; so named because they were designed and styled to fit the narrow canals of the British Inland Waterways but now used for recreation or as homes, whose modern design for their current purposes are kept in par with the narrow-boats of old.
This is a limited edition reproduction produced to the highest print quality and comes mounted, with a certificate of authenticity and inclusive of FREE recorded delivery in the UK.
