Fine Art Painting & Drawings of the beauty of the British Isles

This delightful painting of Aberaeron is presented by Vlad-Art from an original painting created in oil by Welsh based artist Vladislas. The history of the pastel coloured houses of Aberaeron is one of the best-known and best-loved traditions of West Wales’ coastline which according to local claims, painting harbour-side houses in different colours comes from a legacy of the fishermen of this kind of welsh small communities who would paint their terrace homes around the dock in diverse colours so they could recognise their own home as they returned from the sea. Today those houses are the proud hallmark of beautiful Aberaeron, with its rows of pretty Georgian and Victorian cottages in a rainbow of peach, yellow, blue, violet and pink. This subject with all the colours of those houses made again a perfect subject for vladislas’ passion for the harmony of colours.

This is an OPEN EDITION reproduction produced as the original, on canvas, to the highest print quality, comes with a certificate of authenticity and inclusive of FREE fully tracked delivery in the UK.
